We are a spiritual and intellectual community that embraces each child and adult in close fellowship, encourages the open exchange of ideas, provides religious education for all, and serves the larger community.
We will celebrate the shortest days of the year by coming together as a Fellowship to recognize the changes in the season and celebrate the lightness and darkness around us. We will also decorate the sanctuary with ornaments made during the service.
We gather on the first Sunday of the new year, a time of endings and beginnings. “Endings and beginnings, with emptiness and germination in between,” William Bridges. What do we make of this? What do beginnings mean to us? How do we face the new? And what of the old do we bring with us? Let’s look at these questions together.
