    Was Abraham Lincoln really a closet Unitarian? Len develops a connection through his famous address at the battlefield at Gettysburg.
    Rev. Dr. Len De Roche has served churches in WV, PA, and MA . He has also served as a Pastoral Counselor psychotherapist and hospital Chaplain. His first career was as an USAF officer.

    All are welcome to share in a meditative experience called shamanic journeying, led by shamanic practitioner and teacher Julie Lange Groth (www.ravensdrum.com). No experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket or mat and pillow, eye shade or scarf, a journal or notebook, and a snack to share (optional).

    Beginners welcome! We gather once a month to create quilts for wounded service members returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. Feel free to come for any part of the three-hour period and to bring a bag lunch if you wish. If you are involved in another needlework project which grew out of your commitment to peace, justice, and compassion, come work alongside us!
