Our religious education classes are designed to reflect the seven Unitarian
Universalist principles. We believe that each child’s spiritual journey will be
a unique experience. We facilitate that journey by offering the children
opportunities to explore religious, social and moral questions in a safe and
supportive environment. We hope that a child who completes our program in its
entirety will understand Unitarian Universalist principles, will be able to
develop a personal creed for living, will have a basic knowledge of the
denomination’s Judeo-Christian heritage and of other world religions, and will
display respect for other people and for the natural world around us.
Adult
Classes are offered throughout the year on topics such as Unitarian
Universalism, Women’s Spirituality and Writing Your Spiritual Autobiography. We
also sponsor various activities such as a Women’s Circle, Movie Night, Annual
Yard Sale, Gingerbread House Making, Seder, Service Auction and Video Rental.
