Unitarian Universalist Tim DeChristopher Convicted for Environmental Activism
DeChristopher, a member of First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City, UT, was convicted on March 3, 2011, of two felony counts of disrupting a federal auction of oil and gas leases. He faces up to ten years in prison for this act of civil disobedience.
